Maintain Inventory Item

When we maintain inventory ledgers, first of all click on maintain menu after doing this click on inventory

When we open inventory item, the following window will be shown.




 we should mention the following things:
·       Item I’d
·       Description
·       Item class
·       Last unit cost
·       Unit measure
·       GL sales account
·       GL inventory account
·       GL cost of sales
Customer field


The second field is customer field in which we required
·      Alternative vendor
·      Subscription
·      Special note
History


To record the history of this item select history tab. Now mention the following things,
·      Select period history
·      Units sold, Sales
·      Units received
·      Cost
Bills of material




In bills of material assemble item like chair, we need
·      Item i.d
·      Description
·      Quantity Needed

MAINTAIN VENDOR,S ACCOUNT
First of all click on maintain then on vendor.



There are four tabs are mentioned as under;
·       General
·       Purchase defaults
·       Custom fields
·       History

First of all click on first tab General in which we required
Vendor i.d
 Name
Contact 
Account number
Address
Country
Vendor type
Telephone number
E-mail



The second tab is purchase defaults. In this most important thing used is purchase account.If purchase account should not mention then problem can be arises.





 
The third tab is custom field in which three accounts   already made. If we want to made more accounts we click on vendor defaults ,now click on custom field and maintain an account .
Now open custom field on vendor, new account will be automatically present there.


The last tab is history in which vendor all detail will be shown. Last invoice date, last invoice amount, last payment date and last payment amount should be mentioned. Period history, purchases and payment should also shown.

Now click on the left side button, five tabs will be shown in detail.

vFinance charges
vPay methods



Now click on payment terms .In this mentioned
vC.O.D
vPrepaid
vDue in number of days
vDue on day of next month
vDue at month of end






Second tab is account aging in which mentioned detail age invoiced by
·      Invoice date
·      Due date
Aging categories number of days and column heading will be mentioned.







Now click on third tab custom field in which five fields will be labeled.
vSecond contact
vReference
vMailing list
vMultiple sites







Fourth tab is finance charges on left side charge finance charges.
vDays over due up to
vAnnual interest rate
vOn balance above date
vMinimum finance charge





Last tab is pay methods in which their field and payment method will be shown.

Default information customer
First of all click on default information customer

vDue in number of days
vDue on day of next month
vDue at month of end
In this net due days are 30 , discount due days are 10, due on next month 2% discount and credit limit is 2500.


 The Second tab which is shown is account aging in which mentioned detail age invoiced by
